When Nora was just 8 years old, she decided to learn to bake macarons. She watched hundreds of Youtube videos, practiced every weekend, tried dozens of recipes, until she finally crafted the perfect macaron. Her mom, Kirstynn, was in the process of beginning a photography business, when she was constantly distracted by the beautiful cookies her daughter was making. Kirstynn would often have Nora create specific colors, just for pretty pictures. Eventually, Nora was giving her macarons away as gifts, and bringing them to parties, and mom was building a social media following of pretty pictures. Soon that turned into bringing these beautiful treats to the public in the form of farmers markets, weddings, large events, and now in coffee shops, and maker boutiques.
